It is a new USB cable that has greatly improved performance from the previous model. The data pair shield is shielded with a pure silver night, which greatly reduces the RF resistance. High-purity silver (Ag) is used for the data pair, and high-purity copper (Cu) conductor is used for the 5V DC line.

Overview
The Kimber Kable Select USB is optimized for USB 2.0 Isochronous (real time) audio streaming. It delivers the utmost signal integrity in high resolution streaming applications.
With non streaming applications (such as connecting an external hard drive) a super speed USB 3.0/3.1 cable is recommended.
When streaming audio from a digital audio source (such as a PC/MAC, DAP or phone) to a USB DAC, the Select USB is an optimal solution.
C to C (OTG) cables are directional and must be connected as shown in the diagram to function correctly.
As the USB shells are constructed from natural hardwoods and hand finished, small variations will exist from cable to cable and shell to shell. This is completely normal and will not affect performance. We at Kimber Kable hope this hand crafted cable will bring you years of musical joy.
